Marina Kharma, of a Lithuanian origin, was born year 1954 and raised in Volgagrad, Russia. At her young age, she was aware of her artistic abilities and aspirations. She joined the painting academy in Russia. As part of her later education, Marina studied oil painting in Great Britain.

After getting married to a Lebanese surgeon, Marina settled in Beirut and raised three children. During that time she attended art classes and participated in many workshops.
With her family now grown. Marina has been painting full time and working under the influence of the Russian Classical School of Painting. Marina's fascination with the beauty of nature is highly expressed in her artwork whether in gardens, flowers or landscapes.
